Well-constructed, great quality!

These are great! The fabric is soft, the Velcro is well-aligned and strong. The urine absorbency section is appropriately thick. These are not designed to absorb from a full bladder, but are great for overflow leaks or small leaks that sometimes occur around indwelling Foley catheters. The sizing guide is spot on. I appreciate the “normal” appearance of these underwear. These are pricey for kids underwear, but are appropriately priced for an adaptive option, they are made of quality material and construction, and will last quite a while. They even included a “wash bag” to use in the laundry. I definitely recommend this product!

Very cool

This is an amazing product. It doesn't replace diapers, but helps with the transition between diapers and potty training. It doesn't hold a lot of pee, but will hold a bit. They seem soft and comfortable with the sizing and fit being right on. Overall, great product

A Great Option for Youth Sized Out of Potty Training Undies, Who Still Need Some Absorbent Padding

My 7 year old is on fhe spectrum and we've experience some regression with his potty training habits these last few months. They dont make potty training underwear in his size (medium), but I knew we could still benefit for similar, padded undergarments for him. I was thrilled to come across these, and feel parents of kids on the spectrum or with some other disability could very well benefit from these as well. I love that they have the absorbent padding in the front, thay really helps with leaks he sometimes experiences. Especially at bedtime. During middle of the night trips, hes prone to a little spillage, and knowing these help keep him dry are very helpful and assuring! Even when we've had the rare, more involved accident/little more than a skid mark, these keep the other clothing (pants/shorts) clean, and help contain the mess better than traditional briefs which simply aren't up to the challenge. The tear away sides aren't a feature that we personally need to use, but I can see them being helpful for other children and scenarios. While we continue to work towards improving toileting habits, these underwear have been a godsend! They are easy to handwash to get rid of the soiling, and then are washed regularly in the washing machine. They are more than worth the price for the piece of mind they provide! I consider them a good option for kids graduating from nighttime pullups/training pants or with special considerations like my child on the spectrum. We do mainly wear them at nightime as they can appear a bit bulky under fitted clothing. If wearing during the day, i suggest pairing witg looser fitting clothws. Highly recommend

Great Fit!

I really like the look of these! They are true to size. They fit well and the colors are nice. They only have extra padding right up front. I like the legs for extra protection. These aren’t meant for overnight. We’ve been using them for that, as we’ve just run out of options, even with disposables, my child is such a heavy wetter. These, most nights, at least keep the bedding dry, which is a huge plus and helps really cut down on laundry. These are easy to clean. We air-dry them. We hand rinse after an accident, then do a soak in water and a bit of vinegar before washing.I’m not really a fan of the velcro sides. The velcro does work well and it’s not uncomfortable. Break away sides are best for accidents which aren’t only urine. For urine accidents, large accidents will require a shower anyway, so nothing is saved by separating the sides, and small accidents don’t require the break-away option, as the wetness is contained to the front only and doesn’t drag down the legs. The velcro just seems to add more time and hassle when washing. I really like these though.I plan to add an update if anything significantly changes for this item. Until then, it’s safe to assume everything is still consistent with this review.

Dignity and dryness for a much easier school day!

I got this 5-pack of adaptive underwear for my 6-year-old nephew, who is autistic and nonverbal. He isn’t yet fully understanding the bathroom process like other children his age, and it was becoming a real struggle at school. These have been a complete game-changer for his daily routine and my sister’s peace of mind.Discreet & Comfortable Design:One of the best features is that these are designed to look exactly like regular boxer briefs. My nephew doesn't seem to mind the fabric at all, which is a huge win for a child with sensory sensitivities. The cotton fabric is soft and breathable, and the tagless waistband prevents any of the chafing or irritation that usually comes with standard underwear.Functionality at School:Before we found these, he would often come home from school in soaked pants and underwear, even when extra clothes were sent. These have a built-in 4-layer protective lining that quickly absorbs light accidents and prevents leaks. Now, his pants stay dry throughout the day, so his mom doesn't have to constantly coordinate with his teachers or aides about wet clothes.Ease of Use:While they look like normal boxers, they feature an innovative full-side tear-away closure with "magic stickers" that peel easily from the waist to the bottom. This makes changes so much easier since there is no bending or leg lifting required. They are also fully machine washable and durable enough to withstand repeated use, which is essential for busy parents.Final Thoughts:My sister didn't even know products like this existed and was so appreciative to find something that helps him stay dry while maintaining his dignity. If you are caring for a child with special needs or someone recovering from surgery, these are an absolute must-have. They are reliable, discreet, and make a world of difference in everyday life.

Works well for daytime leaks, thoughtful design and easy to use

These came in a pack of five, which is a generous amount. There was no odor when I opened the package, and the design is thoughtful. Each side has Velcro for easy removal, which makes changes much easier. The material is not extremely soft, but it isn’t rough either. My 16-year-old autistic son has some sensory sensitivities with clothing, and he tolerates these well with no complaints. The Velcro tabs are covered by fabric when attached, so they don’t scratch or irritate the skin. The material has a slight stretch, and the front area is thickly padded for absorption. I cannot speak to overnight use since my son wears pull-ups for bed, but during the daytime these work very well for leaks or accidents when he is distracted and doesn’t make it to the toilet in time. These are not meant to hold a full bladder, but they perform well for their intended purpose. They wash well and odors come out completely. I do recommend washing them separately, even from other laundry, because the Velcro can catch on fabrics.Overall, I’m very happy with them for daytime use.

Good quality. May run a little big based on age

I got these for my son. He is 6 years old and I got the size small which says for his age range and weight, but they were a bit big on him which therefore makes the absorbent part not work as well. But since I primarily got these for bedtime, I am still avle to use. He wears a pull up at night but sometimes it leaks based on how he's sleeping and position of things, so we are able to put a pair of these over his pull up fairly easily which provides a back up protection. The side rip off makes clean up very easy which is great because he is usually very upset when he has an accident because he's all wet, so this makes it easier and prevents him from having to step out of wet underwear. The color variety and overall quality of these are very good though. They are absorbent but they definitely not a replacement for a pull up or diaper or anything. Moreso leaks or mild incontinence.Washing is easy but they will smell like urine if you jusy toss it in the wash without rinsing it out first. I rinse it under water, wring out, soak in some water with vinegar and baking soda first and then wash regularly and it's kept the odor away.

Too small

These are nice but I got xl and definitely look very small. I ended up not able to use them for my daughter. It's a great product but just too small.
