Great (Much Needed!) Product Concept, but Runs Very Large

I really wanted to love these but unfortunately the smallest size (Small) is still too large for my child (in both the waist and leg holes) and I will have to wait a few years before we can really use them. When he tried them on he did like the feel and thought they were soft and liked that they weren't bulky like the thick padded training underwear he's been using at night at we try to get him completely out of diapers. They really do look just like normal underwear from the outside! The variety of colors is also nice (though instead of 2 gray I wish they would have swapped in a black or white for one of them). I really wish they had a size XS or XXS so they could be of use to our family right now, but I am still giving 5-stars because this concept is really clever and though the usage is niche, it is for a very underserved population, giving kids struggling with incontinence some dignity in an option for underwear that still looks and feels like normal kid's underwear.

Full Crotch Coverage. True to Size.

These are true to size. They have absorbent padding throughout the entire crotch area. They absorb well. They’re not for overnight. We’ve been using them for overnights, just at this stage. On many nights, they won’t catch everything, but they keep the bedding dry and it’s easier to wash undies and jammies than everything. This is actually pretty amazing considering we’re taking this route as nothing disposable we’ve tried has been able to contain the nighttime accidents. They fit well. They are easy to clean. We hand rinse after an accident, then do a soak in water and a bit of vinegar before washing.I’m not sure how much the velcro sides help. I was really excited about them at first, but after using them several weeks, it just seems unnecessary. At least for urine accidents. But accidents will require a shower anyway and small accidents don’t need the velcro. The velcro works well. It’s just inconvenient and takes some time to put them back together properly.I plan to add an update if anything significantly changes for this item. Until then, it’s safe to assume everything is still consistent with this review.

Discreet protection and comfort for every day!

I got this 5-pack of adaptive briefs for my 6-year-old nephew, who is autistic and nonverbal. These have been an absolute blessing for his school routine, providing a reliable solution for light accidents that used to leave him in soaked clothes by the time he got home.Simple and Effective Design:Just like the boxer brief version, these are designed to look and feel like regular underwear, which helps maintain his dignity among his peers. The 100% cotton fabric is breathable and soft, and the tagless waistband is perfect for avoiding sensory irritation. The built-in 4-layer protective lining does a great job of absorbing light leaks quickly, keeping his outer pants dry and saving my sister from constant worry during his school day.Innovative Tear-Away Feature:The standout feature is the full-side tear-away closure using "magic stickers". This design allows for quick changes from the waist to the bottom without the need for bending or lifting legs, which is incredibly helpful for caregivers. The stickers maintain strong adhesion even after repeated washing, making these a durable choice for daily use.Ease of Care:These are fully machine washable and can be dried at low temperatures, which is essential for busy parents. My sister was so appreciative to learn that things like this exist; they have truly made managing his daily needs at school much easier for everyone involved.Final Thoughts:If you are looking for a discreet, comfortable, and highly functional option for a child with special needs or for post-surgery recovery, these briefs are a win. They provide the protection needed while looking just like regular clothes, offering a perfect balance of utility and comfort.

Good for kids with special needs

I have a disabled 16 year old son who is still in diapers that leak constantly. He is also incredibly hard to change. He is in the hospital for treatment frequently so it's nice to bed able to dress him with the extra layer for comfort and backup leak protection. He wears a size 5 diaper, the biggest child size, and the size I ordered was large and it fits perfect over the diaper. It also kept the diaper from rolling down when he moves around. I was really happy to change just a diaper and not his pants as well. The fabric is really soft on the skin as well. Five pairs are included with 3 Velcro tabs on each side to secure them closed. Also included is a storage bag which can be used to keep them together to wash and dry. Recommended purchase.

High-quality, great for special needs kiddos!

These work great for my special needs kiddo. These would also be great for kids who have a broken leg or post-surgery needs. These will hold small amounts of urine, but not a release from a full bladder. They aren’t designed to replace pull-ups or diapers. These work well for kiddos who use Foley catheters as an excellent alternative to diapers, as they contain any small leaks well, help to avoid “diaper breakdown fuzz,” and are easy to put on with the Velcro on the sides. The Velcro on the sides is strong, and the waistband is very stretchy and silky soft. I appreciate that these come with a mesh bag to keep them safe in the washing machine. It says you can toss them in a low dryer, but I chose to air dry them. They washed well. From previous experience with clothing items with Velcro, I suggest ensuring the Velcro is connected as it would be when wearing the underwear, prior to washing, especially if washing with other clothes, as any fuzz can attach to the “hook-side” of the Velcro and, over time, diminish its attachment strength. Again - the wash bag provided will likely help prevent this as well, and is such a great addition. These are quality-made and should last a long while with proper care. I went by the weight-based sizing guide and feel these are true-to size. My kiddo is approximately 56 pounds and size small work for him at this time. The current price for this five pair set is $59. While I wish they were a tad cheaper, they are offering a high-quality adaptive product, and the development and production of such items is not cheap. Due to the quality of this product, I feel the price is warranted.

Comfortable, absorbent, and a great fit.

My 8-year-old still needs to wear protective garments at night because he is a very heavy sleeper. The cost of big-kid disposable underwear is overwhelming, so I've been in search of a more cost-effective solution. I was so hopeful when I found this 5-pack of washable underwear. The minute my son put these on, he was sold. He told me they are much more comfortable than the disposables, and make him feel less "baby-ish." He is always hesitant to stay overnight anywhere because he is embarrassed of his big kid pull ups. These look like regular underwear, aside from the thick velcro on the sides. The velcro is actually our least favorite aspect of these underwear. I'm sure it is very convenient for some situations, but it isn't something he needs. I may even sew up the sides to make them more comfortable for him, as they are quite thick in their current state. The price is an excellent value if these work out for your kiddo. It's basically the cost of a large box of disposable overnight underwear, so it will pay for itself in time. The absorbency seems to be pretty good - just wash them (without fabric softener) first. It will improve the absorbency. I don't know how well they would hold up for all-day wear or for heavy wetters, but they are great for my son who only wears them overnight and is a medium wetter. The absorbent area is in front. It's a bit thicker there, but not so thick that they will look bulky under pants. Overall, I think this set is a great investment.

Comfortable and Practical Tear Away Underwear for Kids

Trying these on my 8-year-old son gave me a clear sense of how thoughtfully this set is designed for kids who need quick changes or extra support during recovery. The fabric feels soft and gentle on the skin, and the stitching is tidy with no rough seams. The snaps along the sides are evenly placed and secure, and they open smoothly without requiring too much force. Compared to a similar adaptive style we tried before, these feel more refined in both material and construction, especially around the waistband, which has a comfortable stretch that stays in place without digging in.Functionally, the tear-away feature is the highlight. It makes changing much easier, especially during moments when speed and convenience matter. My son moved around comfortably, and the underwear stayed put without bunching. The breathability of the fabric helps prevent irritation, which is important for kids who wear them for long periods. The snaps stay closed during active play, although I did notice that they need to be pressed firmly to ensure they are fully secured. Some children might find the fit slightly snug if they are between sizes, so choosing the next size up may be more comfortable. In terms of durability, the underwear held up well after several washes. The fabric did not thin out, and the snaps continued to function properly without loosening. The seams remained intact, which is something I pay close attention to since other adaptive underwear we have tried tended to fray after repeated use. These feel more dependable and better suited for daily wear.Inside were five neatly folded pairs in different colors, all consistent in quality. The overall design is practical and child-friendly, and my son did not complain about any discomfort, which is always a good sign. One thing worth noting is that children who are very sensitive to snaps might need a little time to get used to the feel of them, but my son adjusted quickly.Overall, I find this set to be a reliable and helpful option for parents looking for adaptive underwear that balances comfort, ease of use, and sturdiness. It offers strong value for its price range and performs better than other similar items we have used. I would confidently recommend it for post-surgery needs, incontinence support, or simply for making changes less stressful for both kids and parents.

A Thoughtful and Practical Solution for Special Needs or Potty Training

These adaptive underwear from TIICHOO have been an absolute game-changer for our family during a potty training. They address a very specific need with remarkable design and compassion. The standout feature is undoubtedly the innovative full-tear-away side. The strong Velcro seams run from the waistband down each side of the thigh, allowing the underwear to be peeled completely open. This has eliminated the difficult task of removing shoes and pants to change clothing. It has made dressing changes at home, and even at public places, quick, simple, and much less stressful for both my son and myself. The light leak protection is the second crucial element. The built-in, discreet layer provides reliable security for minor accidents, which is common during potty training. It has prevented small mishaps from becoming bigger problems, offering significant peace of mind. It's important to note, as the description states, that these are not for heavy overnight wetting, but for their intended purpose of light incontinence, they work perfectly.Comfort and dignity were clearly priorities in the design. The 95% cotton blend is incredibly soft, breathable, and stretches gently. They look just like regular boys' briefs, which has helped my son feel more confident. The tagless waistband prevents any irritation on sensitive skin, and the overall fit is ergonomic without being bulky under clothes. The practical benefits extend to care as well. Being fully machine washable and reusable makes them a sustainable and cost-effective alternative to disposable products. They have held up very well through multiple wash cycles with no issues. In summary, these are a brilliantly engineered product. They provide a compassionate blend of medical functionality, everyday comfort, and preserved dignity for a child. For any parent or caregiver navigating post-operative care, mobility challenges, or light incontinence, these underwear are an invaluable, highly recommended solution. Be sure to consult the size chart for the best fit.
